The Local Government Ombudsman looks at complaints about councils and some other authorities and organisations in England, including education admissions appeal panels and adult social care providers (such as care homes and home care providers). It is a free service. Our job is to investigate complaints in a fair and independent way - we do not take sides. The Advice Team are available Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5.00pm, except for the period 9.30am-10.30am, Tuesday to Friday. You can also text 'call back' to 0762 480 4299. And you can contact us using a textphone via the Text Relay service (formerly Typetalk).
