Maes Ebbw is an all-age, all-range special school for pupils with severe learning disabilities (SLD) and profound and multiple learning disabilities (PMLD). We have three autism-specific classes which follow the Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH) approach - which cater for 24 pupils. Some pupils - for whom it is appropriate - are educated within our non-specific classes. The school may accept volunteers who are students training for a qualification to work with pupils.
