MAPP is founded by Dr Jason Crabtree (Consultant Clinical Psychologist) and Dr Catherine Cheung (Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologist) near Harley Street in Marylebone. We specialise in high-quality, individually-tailored autism diagnostic assessments and specialist psychological therapies for autistic and neurodiverse individuals. We also offer brief or one-off consultation and advice sessions for targeted issues. We are experienced in supporting people with a range of abilities and across the lifespan. We are experts in adapting autism assessments for women and adults seeking a diagnosis later in life. We work empathically and holistically using strength-based and person-centred approaches. We believe in empowering neurodiverse individuals and hope to make a positive difference in our clients' lives.
For parents who wish to explore an autism assessment for your child (16+), please get in touch and we will create a bespoke multi-disciplinary assessment package for you.) Our standard autism assessments for adults (18+ years old) are psychology-led. However, we work closely with an extensive professional network of psychiatrists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists. Where necessary, we may recommend a referral to our multi-disciplinary professional network for further assessment. If the assessment is for a child or a young person, we will recommend involving a pediatrician to ensure that alternative neurodevelopmental or medical conditions have been considered. All our assessments are individually tailored according to your presentation and needs.
We are based in London but can accept referrals from anywhere in the UK. We offer both in-person and remote assessments.
