Main information

Type of service: Suppliers of products

MathBase is a series of programs written to support the teaching of numeracy. It is a resource aimed at the efficient practise of basic numeracy skills. MathBase does not contain distracting or non-mathematical content. It is focused and to the point. Although pupils work at their own speed all are encouraged to work as quickly as possible. The use of MathBase can begin in Reception and continue through to Key Stage 2 (KS2). It is widely effective and will stretch more able pupils as well as support those who have special educational needs. The programme can also be used by adults as it does not contain cartoons or age related images, but clear colourful screens.
