The name of the unit for children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is the Discrete ASD Unit. Mill Green School provides day provision for pupils aged 11-19 with severe learning difficulties (SLD) or profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). A new discrete ASD provision has been established within the school which supports our continued practice for inclusive ASD opportunities throughout the school. Pupils are generally taught in mixed groups. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. The designation age group of our ages has changed to 11-19 years and we will be moving to a 14-19 years provision.
