Type of service: Residential services

We work with adults with autism, learning disability and challenging behaviour. Currently, we use management of actual and potential aggression (MAPA) as an intervention, working closely with community nurses and psychiatrists in developing a behaviour management guideline. All bedrooms for service users have a double bed, ensuite toilet and shower. Referrals come from social workers and community nurses.
