New Diorama Theatre is a pioneering studio theatre in the heart of London. Based on the corner of Regent’s Park, over the last 10 years New Diorama has been at the heart of a new movement in British theatre, dedicated to providing a home for the country’s best independent theatre companies and ensembles. We present a Relaxed Performance for each of our productions. These performances are perfect for audience members on the Autism Spectrum, those who have a sensory or communication disorder or anyone who finds sitting silent and still for a long period of time a challenge. During these performances we allow latecomers, audience members to leave and re-enter as they wish, and encourage everyone to react to the performance however they please. We also make a few adjustments to the production and keep the house-lights on a low setting throughout. Ear defenders are available at box office for anyone who may be affected by loud sound effects.
