North Lakes School has a Strategically Resourced Base for up to 8 pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), complex difficulties, physical difficulties, medical difficulties or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) within the mainstream school. The pupils access their mainstream classes wherever it is thought appropriate, but especially for Physical Education (PE), games, art, design and technology, music curriculum areas. Pupils also have riding and swimming lessons. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. Another facility offered by the school is the school mini-bus. North Lakes School is well resourced. Additional facilities include a ball pool and sensory room. There is a specialist in house teacher for autism. Please refer to the Local Offer found on the school website for further information.
