Main information

Type of service: Day schools, Schools

Oakfield Park School is an 11-19 years old school for pupils who have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties. We have a number of pupils who are considered to have an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) as an additional learning difficulty. We have four specific class groups for these pupils although they are timetabled for inclusive activities throughout the school. We also have pupils with an ASD within the main body of the school rather than the ASD specific groups. Several of our staff have further qualifications in the field of ASD. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
