Overley Hall was established in 1980 by co-principals/husband and wife, Anita and Paul Brown; both from special education teaching backgrounds. The independent school/home was established to provide a specialised, residential learning and living environment for children and young people who have a range of complex needs in a peaceful rural setting. Anita remains the sole and active Proprietor of Overley Hall. Overley Hall Ltd. comprises of Overley Hall School, Wellingtonia Children’s home and two adult homes the Woodlands and Station House. The service users at Overley Hall have a wide range of complex needs specifically linked to autism and learning difficulties.
