Welcome to Overzest Community Support Service, an organisation registered with the Care Quality Commission. We provide respite care services and we operate a 24-hour supported living accommodation service. We also provide Independent Domiciliary Care Services for clients who live in their own homes. Our philosophy: We aim to provide community services for people with learning disabilities who need to develop their independent/life skills that will empower them to live in a supported living accommodation or independently in the future. These skills will enable them to be socially valued and treated as equal citizens with equal rights within their community. To achieve these objectives, services to our clients are based upon the following six values: Privacy: We recognise our clients rights to be left alone and free from public attention into their affairs and their rights to be treated with respect; Dignity: We recognise and value our clients uniqueness regardless of their disabilities, sexual orientation, gender, race and/or other circumstances. Independence: For each person to be allowed to act and think individually including a willingness to take a degree of calculated risk. Choice: Opportunities to choose from a range of options and make informed decisions. Rights: To maintain all their entitlement associates with ordinary citizenship. Fulfilment: Opportunities for our clients to realise their personal abilities and achievements in all aspects of their daily life.
