Assessment and diagnostic service for children and young people up to age 20.

Assessment procedure: The assessment entails an initial consultation with parents and child/ young person to assess concerns, explore nature of difficulties and ensure that full assessment package is required. Assessment package is tailored to individual needs but includes always Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) / Autism Diagnostic Interview-Revised (ADI-R), medical and family history and school or nursery observation.

Follow up service: A number of sessions up to 5 to help the family understand the diagnosis and organise interventions and support required.

Multi-disciplinary assessment: Clinical psychology, occupational therapist, speech and language therapy.

Age: From age 1 to 20

Aimed at: Adolescent , Child

Gender: All genders

Referral Sources: Private Only

Other specialisms: Challenging behaviour, Developmental Disorders
