The Young People's Advocacy Service provides support and advocacy for young people with additional support needs to children and young people in Angus, Dundee and Perth and Kinross. Each area has its own Advocacy Worker who usually visits young people at their school and supports them at meetings in school, clinics and children's hearings etc. The workers will build a relationship with the young person and help them to express their views and so build confidence and self-esteem. The scheme complements the support and advocacy service for parents of children with additional needs, Parent to Parent..

Gender: All genders

Covers: Angus, Dundee City, Perth and Kinross
