Park Lane School is an all age school with a designation of severe learning difficulty. The school caters for pupils with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Pupils with ASD are educated with their peers in key stages. These classes are mixed. Within the class we can offer autism specific strategies including Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) and Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped Children (TEACCH). Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. Other facilities offered by the school are through College facilities at Macclesfield College.
