The service provides a diagnostic service for pre-school aged children living in Perth and Kinross. Diagnostic services for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) are provided by NHS Tayside at different locations. Initially, children aged 0-5 years from Perth & Kinross with social communication difficulties would be seen in Perth Royal Infirmary. This service offers assessment for ASD. Assessment of learning disability and mental health problems would be done by different services in NHS Tayside.
