Type of service: Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), Interventions and therapies

The Project for Autism at Richmond-upon-Thames provides support and information for children and young people aged 5-18 and their families who are either awaiting an assessment or have recently received a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder through the CAMHS or Richmond Emotional Health Service Neurodevelopmental Teams. .

You can make an appointment to visit us for a face-to-face meeting at Richmond-upon-Thames CAMHS, or contact us by telephone or email. .

We also offer post-diagnostic psychoeducation groups for parents/carers and for young people, and can provide support and information sessions for young people who were diagnosed at a young age and are wanting to find out more about autism..

Age: From age 5 to 18

Aimed at: Adolescent , Child , Child/adolescent sibling, Parent/carer of a child, Parent/carer of a young person

Gender: All genders

Registrations & Approaches

Specialisms: Staff and volunteers get autism awareness training

Other specialisms: Challenging behaviour, Learning disability

Registrations and professional qualifications: HCPC
