Rotherham

Main information

Type of service: Further & Higher Education

Students are assessed when they apply to College or as a result of a Learning Disability Assessment, 139a. Students are referred by self, Integrated Youth Support Services and school. Individual plan will state the support a student needs to achieve their main programme. Individual support is available inside and outside the classroom. We offer a 'life skills' curriculum for identified students and a 'Gateway' which is a discrete area for students to relax in, do their homework and socialise. This area is staffed throughout the day. Students access the 'Gateway' in their 'unstructured time'. All students have a personal tutor and key worker.
