Autism Service Directory

Sefton's Disabled Children's Information and Database

Sefton Council

Main information

Type of service: Family support and information services

The database exists to provide families of disabled children with information on local and national services. It is also an opportunity to collect information to help with the planning of local services. Your child can be registered with the database if your child has a learning, physical, sensory or communication difficulty, chronic illness or medical condition and consequent/associated emotional or behavioural difficulty. You will receive an information pack which will provide you with details of current services in Sefton, including statutory and voluntary agencies. You will be kept informed about changes in services, new services and other helpful information via a newsletter produced by the Co-ordinator. Agencies involved in the provision of services will gain a better understanding of what type of services are needed now and in the future.
