Type of service: Interventions and therapies

Provides behavioural therapy. Offers a holistic assessment looking at not only the behaviour, but the environment, past and present influences, interaction styles, level of functional skills, sensory issues and the persons personal interests. This is to build up a positive behaviour plan that is person centred and looks at how situations impact on them. The assessments are completed in all environments by observations, interviews, specific tools; i.e. Adaptive behaviour scales, sensory profiles, Ch-Pass ADD (mental health tool), functional analysis of behaviours. Can provide independent expert reports, make home visits, visit a clients nursery school or college and attend tribunals/educational appeal committees.
