Speur-Ghlan Early Intervention Service

Bridge of Allan

Main information

Type of service: Interventions and therapies

Speur-Ghlan is a registered Scottish charity providing an early intervention service and centre for pre school children aged between 18 months and 5 years. We provide a range of services including home based programmes, parent training, training for early years professionals and small group therapy classes. Vists can be made to the home or nursery. We aim to cater for children who either have a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder or who have been identified as having developmental delay including GDD, PDD-NOS, specific language disorders and/ or speech delay. We aim to become a leading provider of intensive early educational intervention in Scotland, and begin to raise awareness of the importance of early identification and early support for children and their families. We believe strongly in using well researched and evidence based interventions including both behavioural and developmental models. We tailor our programmes to suit each individual child. We can provide independent expert reports and attend educational tribunals.
