Type of service: Further & Higher Education

SRUC offers places for people with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in both mainstream areas and in Supported Learning classes, depending on their academic ability. The college offers guidance, advice and access to support where and when required as part of the student experience. Alison Boyle is SRUC's Learner Engagement Manager and has a responsibility for learner support cross campus. We also provide specialist training for staff and have 24 hour Supported Accommodation for some individuals and can now offer 24-hour support packages to meet the needs of more complex students who require additional residential support.
