St Crispin's is a special school located in southeast Edinburgh, providing education for both primary and secondary aged pupils. The school meets the additional support needs of pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, many of whom are on the autism spectrum. The school serves a wide area with pupils travelling from all parts of the city plus a small number from surrounding areas. We have a primary, a secondary and a senior department all working within the Curriculum for Excellence towards qualifications at SQA Access Level and from the ASDAN programme. The Sycamore Centre is a satellite unit of St Crispin's School based in the Capability Scotland premises in Ellerslie Road. It provides a short term assessment and teaching environment for a small number of pupils from across Edinburgh who are currently finding attendance at their own special school too challenging or upsetteing to cope.
