Type of service: Family support and information services

Provides a range of services to carers living in St Helens. The centre takes a holistic approach to individual carer support and the services provided to each carer depends upon their circumstances and the assistance or services they feel would benefit them. The services are free. The Carer Support Team are on hand to offer emotional support, information, advice and advocacy services. All contact with the Centre is confidential. No appointment is necessary to see a Carer Support Worker and you can contact them by telephone, letter, email, arrange an appointment face to face, or simply drop in to the centre between 10am and 4pm any weekday. The centre has a vast array of resources and following your contact with the centre, you will be provided with specific information best suited to you. By contacting the centre and registering, you will also receive regular updates from the newsletter.
