The Law Society's website holds a searchable database of solicitors. It is designed to enable people to search for law firms by location and by the particular area of law the firms have expertise in, for example trusts, wills and probate, mental health and incapacity, children. Entries are marked to show if the firm has demonstrated to the Solicitors Regulation Authority special competence in a particular area of law.
