The Next Steps Foundation

Kingsdown

Main information

Type of service: Employment services

The Next Steps Foundation's (NSF's) key aim and goal is to help people gain a new career that applies their assets and engages their brilliant minds, tailoring and enhancing the employment experience process. We specialise mainly in young adults with neuro-developmental disorders, such as Asperger syndrome, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and also those from troubled backgrounds who are new starters in the professional world of employment. The NSF will assist our candidates step-by-step in a tailored recruitment process to help them find a long-term suitable working environment that they are able to thrive and excel in. We are a Bristol based charity who look at particular limitations, requirements and ingrained beliefs. Beliefs that you need to be from certain backgrounds, cultures or to have certain experiences. We defy that these are the determining factors, which enables people to be employed, well-paid and in a position that they enjoy. We plan to have our candidates working within 3-12+ months of joining the foundation, we will work closely with them to understand their backgrounds, passions and career goals so we are able to turn those goals into achievable targets, we aim to help those in need, to achieve the next step. Joining our foundation has no cost, we do not charge any fees or take commission from our candidate's new employer. We only look to help make a difference, not commission. The service also caters for rebellious teenagers, young adults with Asperger syndrome and new starters in the professional world.
