The centre is a single-storey building which can accommodate 16 people in 9 bedrooms. There is a purpose built bathroom with powered shower, changing bench and hoist. The centre is set among woodlands on the banks of the river Aeron, just outside the harbour town of Aberaeron. Sandy beaches where seals and dolphins can be watched are a short drive along the coast road. Around the centre you can find lots of wildlife as well as a woodland walk which leads to a walled garden, to which visitors have unlimited access. There is also an adventure playground in the garden. The centre may be used for the benefit of people with disabilities by groups, schools and families with disabled members or others with special needs, accompanied by their carers. It can also be used by relevant organisations for training and related purposes and by adults out of season.
