I use a cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) model to formulate the difficulties. I provide problem solving approaches including techniques to practice outside the therapy room. I provide psychological education. I provide coping strategies including diaphragmatic breathing exercises, 'calm place'/emotional containers, Mindfulness awareness & muscle relaxation techniques. I conduct Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) to address traumas. My counselling approach is: CBT; EMDR; integrative; gestalt; solution focused; and transactional analysis. My form of counselling is 121 therapy only..
