The Wheelyboat Trust is a registered charity dedicated to providing mobility impaired people of all ages with independent access to waterborne activities (e.g. nature watching, pleasure boating, powerboating, angling) in wheelchair accessible Wheelyboats. Its principal role is to help and encourage venues that are open to the public acquire Wheelyboats for the benefit of their disabled visitors and to help groups and organisations acquire Wheelyboats for their own use. 168 Wheelyboats have been supplied all over the UK and as far as the Trust knows there is no other charity designing, building, funding and supplying this type of craft anywhere in Europe.
