The Social Beans Club! Using intentional play to teach 3 to 4 year olds social communication skills, The Social Beans Club is a Watford based social communication skills development group that empowers you with the tools to develop your child's social communication skills through `intentional Play`. Intentional Play is an effective way to help improve and develop the social and communication skills of children who are showing difficulties in these particular developmental areas. Using a range of intentional play activities that include social stories, social communication focussed toys and arts & crafts The Social Beans Club will provide your little Social Bean with the opportunity to make positive connections with other Social Beans as well as giving them the tools to better engage not only with you but also with the world around them. There is a weekly fee of £10 for this `learning social skills through play` intervention and sessions are approximately 1 hour long with the last fifteen minutes used to provide you with your social bean home task! You will need to complete a quick social and communication skills assessment to determine whether you child has the level of receptive language ability required to attend the club.
