Type of service: Day services

Thrift Farm offers day care placements for adults with learning disabilities. There are five main units on the farm: garden contract team; horticulture; woodwork and craft workshop; small animal and rare breed park; sheep, cattle and free range poultry. The farm is open to the public 9.15am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday all year round. Places are also provided for special school students and other agencies are able to purchase day care for their service users. Volunteers are accepted after CRB checks and with two references.
