Tiphereth is a member of the Camphill movement and offers residential and day services: residential care for adults with special needs at Torphin Holding, Kitezh, and The Hollies; a wide variety of day-care projects for people with special needs who live in the locality; day activities, comprising a wool-workshop, gardening, therapeutic based activities such as art, craft and music and cultural events; the Tiphereth Pentlands Group which, in co-operation with the Pentland Rangers Service, carries out work in the Pentland Hills Regional Park; the Colinton Community Compost, which collects local garden waste, makes it into organic compost and supplies it back to the local community; and the Tiphereth Garden Group, which cares for and enhances the gardens at Tiphereth and works closely with all other community projects.
