Transport for All

London

Main information

Type of service: Advocacy (general), Family support and information services

Transport for All consists of a small team of staff and volunteers offering a unique pan-London service. They are funded by London Councils and supporter donations. From Blue Badges to Freedom Passes, and from accessible buses to the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) - they have been working hard to ensure that disabled and older Londoners have the information they need to get from A to B. They see their role as working with the capital's disabled and older communities, and accessible transport providers, towards a London transport network that meets the needs of all of its citizens. If you have a complaint about a London Transport service and are unsure how to complain, Transport for All are there to help you. They receive complaints about a whole range of problems, such as not being able to book a trip, appeals against a declined application, or being discriminated against by drivers. You can telephone, email, write to us, or complete our online complaint form with the details of what has happened. The more information you can collect about the incident, the more successful your complaint will be. Once they are satisfied they have enough information, they then write to, or email the service provider on your behalf. When they receive a reply (usually within a few weeks) they will get in contact with you and let you know the outcome.
