Turning Point Scotland

Main information

Type of service: Supported living schemes

Offers a supported living service to adults with a learning disability living in Renfrewshire. The services extend widely throughout Renfrewshire specifically, Linwood, Johnstone, Bridge of Weir and Kilbarchan. The support packages may include the person living on their own with one, two or three others. People live in ordinary houses, which may be internally adapted to suit needs. Housing is provided either by Renfrewshire Council or by locally based housing associations with each with each individual having their own secure housing occupancy agreement. We support people to become more involved and take an active role in their local community. Referrals are via Renfrewshire Social Work department only.
