Type of service: Residential services, Respite and short breaks

Ty Pennant tries to integrate residents into local community facilities where appropriate, i.e. local college courses suitable for people with learning difficulties, hairdresser, chiropody, doctor, nurse and supported employment scheme. Staff have already achieved NVQ 2 and 3 and are working towards the award via their own assessors. Volunteers are accepted to work alongside qualified staff following CRB checks. Service users are referred by Social Services only.
