Valley Road is a purpose-built bungalow designed to meet the needs of people with physical disabilities. The bungalow is spacious, light and airy and is fitted with a range of specialist equipment including track hoists and parker baths designed to make stays at the service more comfortable. The professional staff team is experienced in meeting customer needs and works closely with families, carers and professionals to ensure a positive experience whilst accessing the service. The service is able to meet the needs of people on the autism spectrum who also require a service that can meet the needs of their physical disability. The customers who use the Valley Road service are encouraged to participate in all community activites whilst they are enjoying their respite stay. The on-site activities include arts and crafts, music sessions, gardening and cooking activities. Valley Road accepts referrals from all statutory services and will work with private clients who self-refer to the service. Volunteers may be accepted to work with service users.
