VSA

Main information

Type of service: Training providers, Training providers

This service is for afterschool clubs, crèches and non-profit making nurseries supporting them in the integration of children with additional support needs in their setting. The ASNAP worker spends time gathering information, observing and liaising with other professionals in identifying support that could be put in place to help the child integrate and get the best out of the service. We provide advice on training, environmental layout, specialist equipment and behaviour strategies all of which is personalised to the individual setting and on completion a certificate is awarded.
