The name of the unit for children with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is the Learning and Communication Strand. Warmley Park is a severe learning disabilities (SLD) / ASD day school with six specialist classes for children with an ASD from The Learning and Communication Strand. Working partnerships with parents is core to the school's success. The school provides outreach services to other schools and professionals. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils. Other facilities offered by the school are food technology and life skills facilities, work-related learning, and supported work experience placements in local communities.
