Wear Mencap's multi sensory room is a fantastic facility based at Great Lumley Methodist Church.
It is filled with equipment to stimulate sensory development and learning and is specifically designed for young children and people with various disabilities.

The sensory room is available for use throughout the week during the day up until 5pm. It is also available on Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings and weekends by request.
There is a cost involved in booking the room, however prices are negotiable depending on individuals situations.
