The service provides multi-disciplinary assessment and therapy for the under-fives in West Cheshire in conjunction with the Education Authority and Social Services. There is also an autism spectrum condition (ASC) diagnostic service for pre-school children based in the Child Development Centre in Macclesfield. The team consists of one speech and language therapist (SALT), one teacher and 2 teaching assistants. The children are seen at any age pre-school. They are referred by the paediatricians..
