Treetops Base has provision for 25 children aged 5-11 years. Treetops is part of West Wimbledon Primary School and our children regularly access mainstream inclusion where appropriate. Treetops delivers an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) friendly curriculum which incorporates life skills and exercise eg swimming and horse riding into their weekly timetable. A speech and language therapist with a specialism in ASD is on site 2 days a week. Staff are trained in Treatment and Education of Autistic and related Communication handicapped CHildren (TEACCH) and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS). Visits to the base are welcomed. Volunteers may be accepted to work with the pupils.
