The way of life at Creedy court is based on the principle that people with autism/Asperger Syndrome and learning disabilities are capable of growth and development, and that during their lives, they should receive all the necessary assistance that enables them to learn and mature. The service specifically addresses their needs as individuals as well as their disabilities. The ethos at Creedy Court is one of “gentle teaching”, which empowers and values the individual and looks at the positive side of the person. Westleigh is a six-bedded unit for people with Asperger Syndrome and learning disabilities, where a more independent lifestyle is fostered. On site there is a Day Service for the service users.
