The Yeo Valley Lions Club provides a secure, multi-sensory open air playground, with equipment designed for those with special needs. A shelter and picnic tables are provided and toilet facilities are located nearby. The playground, which is located in rural North Somerset between Clevedon and Yatton, is open from the 1st of April to 31st October annually. It has a large area of grass to enable all the family to relax and play in a private, secure environment. The playground is non-supervised and member of families can come and go as they wish. Membership fee is £2.50 to cover initial administration costs and the playground is maintained by Yeo Valley Lions Club as a service to the community. Applications for membership are also welcomed from special needs groups.
