Assessment procedure: Initial assessment by assessing professional, discussion at forum and key worker allocated, further assessment arranged (from range of professionals) and date set for further discussion, further discussion at forum with diagnosis and intervention package.

Follow up service: Yes, community paediatrician follows up children with developmental delay, intervention package with named key worker (will be different for different children e.g. could be clinical psychologist or someone else).

Multi-disciplinary assessment: Yes, professions involved: clinical psychology, psychiatry, paediatrics, speech and language therapy, educational psychology, social services.
