Type of service: Day schools, Schools

Pupils are referred to the centre through medical professionals or other agencies if they are concerned about a child. An admissions meeting is set up to ensure all parents and professionals are able to give their input prior to pupil being admitted. Risk assessments are carried out. Pupils are regularly assessed and supported by other visiting professionals eg speech and language therapist, occupational therapist etc. Pupils are sensitively integrated into mainstream setting where appropriate.
