There is a supportive, friendly atmosphere at 24b Main Road and the team take a positive, person centred approach to meeting individual’s bespoke and often intensive support needs. The ground floor has four en-suite bedrooms and a pleasant communal lounge and large dining room. There is also wheelchair access to support people with physical disabilities and mobility issues. For individuals seeking a more independent way of living, upstairs there are two self-contained flats with independent access.

Individuals are encouraged to enjoy social and leisure activities and pursue hobbies and interests of their choice both in the home and their wider community .

Nearby Shrewsbury has many amenities including cinema, shops, bowling alley, cafes, restaurants, a library and many other leisure facilities. There are good  transport links near the home to support people to get out and about.

We place great importance on helping people learn new skills by encouraging them to take an active interest in the running of the home with their own areas of responsibility. This helps improve daily living skills and confidence and as greater independence is achieved we update support plans with the individual to make sure we are maximising their choices and opportunities.
