46 The Grove
Consensus Support
Main information
Type of service: Residential services
46 The Grove is a residential service in Isleworth for males with learning disabilities, autism and mental health difficulties. Some individuals may also have behaviours which others may find challenging. In this caring, supportive environment, there are seven bedrooms which each have their own bathroom, as well as pleasant communal areas, gardens and a conservatory.
Support is tailored to individual’s need and the goals they want to achieve and support plans are regularly reviewed to ensure they are living their life in the way they wish to.
Individuals are encouraged to enjoy leisure and social activities at the home such as art and music therapy and other activities of their choice.
They also regularly host parties and open days where friends and family are always welcome.
There is easy access to public transport (rail and bus networks) to nearby Hounslow and its many shopping and leisure amenities which include bowling, a cinema, cafes and swimming pool.
Great importance is placed on helping individuals who live at the home to learn new skills and to take an active interest in the running of the home, including shopping and cooking.
This helps improve daily living skills and confidence and allows people to have their own responsibilities, as well as their own hobbies and interests.
