Barnardo's vision is that the lives of all children and young people should be free from poverty, abuse and discrimination. They deliver 61 services where they promote social inclusion in the face of disability, abuse, HIV/AIDS, family breakdown, poverty, educational breakdown, homelessness, alcohol or drug misuse. Every year the services they offer increase as they identify new areas of need, in partnership with a range of childcare professionals. The Barnardo’s partnership approach is as much about accessing the appropriate resources and skills required to deliver services as it is about sourcing the money to fund them.
