Barnardo's Scotland Fostering (North) service provides meaningful family-based short breaks for children and young people with disabilities, including those with autism, in the Dundee and Aberdeen areas. Family based carers are recruited from diverse backgrounds and cultures to care for the children and young people in the carer's own home. The length of breaks varies, from a few hours to overnight care to longer foster placements, according to the assessed need. Please contact the Dundee or Aberdeen office for further information.
