Momentum Fife is an employment and training programme providing IT training to disabled and socially excluded people in the area. The service is delivered through two main Job Centre plus initiatives. The Work Preparation Programme helps people to build the skills they need for work, including job seeking skills and work experience opportunities. The New Deal Voluntary Sector Training Option focuses on IT training. Momentum Fife also operates a small social enterprise, which develops and produces multi-media interactive CD-ROMS, designed as marketing tools for the voluntary and statutory sectors in Fife. Referrals are via Job Centre Disability Employment Advisers.
