Ophir Road

Consensus Support

Main information

Type of service: Residential services

Ophir Road, close to the popular coastal town of Bournemouth is a residential service for individuals with learning disabilities and complex needs, including those who express behaviours which others might find challenging.

With a friendly home from home environment, Ophir Road is a 1900s Victorian detached house spread across three floors. With four en-suite bedrooms, including a shared flat, it provides a small, personalised setting where the focus is very much around tailored support and helping the individuals who live there to have a fulfilled and meaningful life.

Being close to Bournemouth town centre and the lovely sandy beach, individuals are supported in accessing leisure and social activities of their choice within the local community. Individuals enjoy swimming, cinema, music clubs, bowling and attending day centres.

There is a mini-bus on site and the home is also close to very good transport links and a national train and coach station.
